My Journey

Hi, I’m Parul. I founded Enso Counseling and Art Therapy Centre 12 years ago after completing my post-graduation in Psychology. I’ve always been deeply curious about human behaviour and the emotional worlds people carry within them. Over the years, my work has taken me across therapy rooms, classrooms, colleges, corporates, and institutions. Along with my private practice, I work as a college counsellor and spend a lot of time working with teenagers and young adults. At the heart of my work is creating safe, non-judgmental spaces where people can explore their emotions at their own pace. Psychology is a constantly evolving field, and I continue to learn, grow, and integrate new research into my practice.

Curiosity & Sensitivity

As a child, I was always curious about people, emotions, and the human mind. I found myself observing behaviour, listening closely, and wondering why people felt and acted the way they did. Even today, human behaviour continues to fascinate me—and that curiosity naturally led me to this profession.

I chose to take this curiosity forward when I discovered psychology as a subject. I was deeply excited to learn about the human brain, behaviour, and the experiments that shaped psychological understanding. This journey led me to complete my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Industrial Psychology, followed by a Diploma in Counseling Psychology.

Academic Foundation

While working with both children and adults, I began to realize that talk therapy, though powerful, also has its limitations. This is when I came across Arts-Based Therapy. Having always loved art, I was drawn to its potential as a therapeutic tool. In 2015, I completed a Diploma in Arts-Based Therapy from WCCL (World Centre for Creative Learning), which became a significant shift in my practice.

Diverse Professional Experience

Over the past 12 years, my journey has taken me across educational institutions, NGOs, and corporate organizations. Working in these varied spaces has helped me understand emotional experiences across different age groups, roles, and life contexts.

Present Work & Growth

In my clinical work, I’ve increasingly seen how deeply trauma impacts people’s lives. This understanding led me to train in trauma-informed therapy, specifically EMDR. I continue to learn and grow, and I look forward to engaging in research-based work that integrates Art Therapy and EMDR in meaningful ways.
